Police: Men responsible for at least 6 robberies

PASADENA – Pasadena police have arrested several men suspected of robbing several stores.

According to investigators, two men went into the novelty outlet Bizarre Bazaar on Spencer Highway and demanded an employee to open the cash register.

One of the men had a gun, police said.

Detectives said a witness saw the men leave the store and enter a nearby apartment complex.

Officers arrested four men inside a second floor apartment.

Investigators said officers found a handgun, cash and other items related to the Bizarre Bazaar robbery.

According to police, two more men were also arrested, who along with three of the initial four men arrested, were found to be responsible for six aggravated robberies in Pasadena and one in the city of South Houston.

Orlando Gutierrez, 23, Alton Alfred, 22, Eric Espinoza, 20, Destin Rodriguez, 18, and Robert Dehart, 21, are among the men charged.

The man targeted cellphone stores, convenience stores and smoke shops from Jan. 2 - Jan. 12, police said.
