HOUSTON – Two Houston police officers were involved in a crash while chasing the driver of a stolen truck.
Around 9 p.m. Thursday, an HPD unit was chasing a stolen pickup truck eastbound on the North Loop.

That is when the truck took the exit ramp to Interstate 59, but when police tried to follow they lost control and slammed into the concrete wall.
The two officers were not hurt.
The truck was eventually found abandoned nearby, but the driver had fled.
