Shoes may be behind armed robbery in Baytown

According to reports, the man had followed them across the street from the mall where they'd just purchased two pairs of new basketball shoes.

The victims said they identified the suspect's license plate, which led police to a house in Channelview.

"Ultimately, [we] got a search warrant for the residence and were able to identify the folks inside," said Lt. Eric Freed with the Baytown Police Department.  "[We were able to] recover the victims' shoes and cell phones, which were taken during the robbery."

Police arrested 18 year-old Ellmean Wolfe at the house and charged him with robbery.
