Trio facing aggravated robbery charges

BAYTOWN, Texas – Police say three men accused of holding up a gas station in Baytown have been charged.

According to investigators, the trio entered the Valero located on Garth Road and Rollingbrook Street on Jan. 6 at 10:26 p.m.

Detectives said a man with a handgun forced the clerk to give him money from the cash register before the trio left the store.

"One suspect stayed close to the door and served as a lookout, while the other two suspects approached the counter, one armed with a semi-auto handgun," said Baytown police.

A witness said they were was able to call 911. Officers located the getaway vehicle with the three suspected crooks at a nearby apartment complex on Garth Road.

"An undetermined amount of cash was taken from the Valero and cash was also recovered from the suspects," said investigators.

Police have charged Dedrick Ramon Robbins, 17, Quan'ta Travonne Abraham, 19, and Willie James Hallibuton, Jr., 19, with aggravated robbery.
