Playboy playmates sue strip club

Playboy models allege misuse of images

SAN ANTONIO – Four Playboy playmate models are suing two strip clubs -- Dixie Rose Cabaret San Antonio and Dixie Rose Cabaret Abliene -- alleging that the owner used their images to imply that they worked there and endorsed the clubs.

Sara Underwood, Athena Lundberg, Rosie Jones and Tiffany Toth said in the lawsuit, “…many of the promotional materials used by the clubs are pictures of all plaintiffs that are doctored to make it appear that they are strippers working in the clubs or that they endorse the clubs,”

The lawsuit said the violations are “rampant and ongoing.”

According to the suit, the images are used to promote the clubs on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, other social media sites and each club’s website.

The images were used without the women’s consent, the suit said.

The suit seeks damages for unauthorized use, attorney’s fees, court costs, pre-judgment and post-judgment interest and exemplary damages.
