HOUSTON - Police are charging a woman they say left a toddler in the middle of a busy five lane road in Northeast Harris County.
Selena Monshea Lee is charged with endangering a child after they say she left her two-year-old daughter in the street on July 3rd.
The incident occured in the 92-hundred block of Mesa Road.
Houston police say Lee was seen holding her daughter while arguing with a man and a woman around 9am on Wednesday.
After the argument, police say she walked out into the road and placed her daughter in the middle of the traffic.
Police say several alarmed witnesses ran out into the traffic and grabbed the girl from the danger of oncoming cars.
Lee was arrested and is being held in lieu of a five thousand dollar bond.
