Police say the victim, identified as Malcolm McCloud, was disrespectful to the other man all day in front of customers. The man informed a supervisor of McCloud's behavior.

According to investigators, when McCloud was told he was being fired, he began punching his co-worker and threatening to kill him.

Police said McCloud picked up a screwdriver and the other man claims he picked up a pocket knife to defend himself.

The co-worker stabbed McCloud, then tried to perform CPR on him, but the victim died at the scene.

The Harris County District Attorney's Office will decide whether the man will face charges.
