Man shot to death during southwest Houston robbery

HPD: Victim was with friend when he was shot.

HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for two men who attacked and killed a man outside of a southwest Houston apartment complex early Sunday morning.

It was just after 4 a.m., when homicide detectives were called to the scene.

Police said the victim and his friend were walking in the parking lot of The Oaks Apartments in the 7000 Block of  Bissonnet Street.

Two men approached and demanded their belongings. 

In the process, one of the men was shot and died at the scene. Police identified him as 24-year-old Carlos Sosa.

The robbers left the scene in a gray, four-door, older model sedan of unknown make or model. 

Police described the suspects as two Hispanic males with bald or shaved heads.
