HOUSTON – A man is in serious condition after a drive-by shooting in west Harris County.
On Wednesday at 9 p.m., Harris County deputies found a man shot once in the chest in front of a cellphone store on Highway 6 and Pavilion Point.

According to deputies, an unknown person drove by and shot the man while he was standing in the parking lot.
The man ran inside a nearby smoke shop and asked for help. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious but stable condition.
Investigators said there is no known motive for the shooting.
