BAYTOWN, Texas - Police are looking for the man who assaulted a Jack in the Box worker through the drive-thru window.
It happened on Wednesday at the fast food restaurant in the 4200 block of Decker Drive.
The on-duty manager, a 29-year-old woman, told police she was punched by a customer who had become belligerent after she could not understand what he was trying to order.
The woman told police the man became irate and cursed at her over the speaker before driving up behind another vehicle at the window.
Police said the man got out of his car and walked up to the window, where he then hit the manager in the face.
The manager told police the customer tried to pull her out through the window. Another vehicle pulled up behind his car, so he got back in his car and drove off.
Baytown police said they are looking for a black man between 20-27 years old, who is tall and slim, and was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
Officials are reviewing surveillance video as they continue their investigation.
The manager was not injured in this incident.
