The caller reported a suspicious person in a white car at the apartment buildings right off of Magnum Road and Sherwood Lane.

When police arrived, they saw a car leaving the apartment's parking lot with no headlights on.

Police followed that car and attempted to pull it over, but the driver refused to stop.

Police say the driver then took off, leading them on a chase from Antoine Drive all the way to the intersection of 32nd 1/2 Street and Hinton Boulevard.

The driver then jumped from the car and attempted to run away, but officers quickly caught and arrested him.

After searching the car, police say they found marijuana and a shotgun.

Police say the suspect claims to have fled because his driver's license is suspended.

He now faces felony evading charges.
