HOUSTON – Houston police have arrested a man for endangering a child.
According to police, Ronnie Brothers, 33, went to an apartment complex on the 8300 block of Canyon Street to see his son on Sunday.
Police say the mother of the boy said no because Brothers is always "high."
When the mother turned around, Brothers took his 3-year-old son.
He eventually left his son in front of a stranger's home off of 4600 Mayflower.
Police say the woman who found the little boy saw Brothers before he left and was was able to describe him, which led to his arrest.
Brothers is charged with endangering a child.
Court records show Brothers has a lengthy criminal history which includes possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a weapon.
