HOUSTON – A man has been charged with impersonating a public servant after, officers said, he tried to pull over a driver in northeast Houston.
A Harris County Precinct 3 deputy constable said he saw Ricardo Garza trying to pull over a driver in the 14000 Woodforest Boulevard on Sept. 9 at 11:58 p.m.

The deputy said Garza used a siren on his SUV to stop the driver.
Sensing something suspicious, the deputy checked to see if any stops were being made in the area and saw there were none.
He stopped Garza and arrested him.
