HOUSTON - The largest free skate park in North America is now open to the public in the Spring area.
Some BMX riders aren't happy about the park's opening. The riders say bikers should be allowed to ride at the park, too.
The park officially opened Thursday and is 78,000 square feet and features a full pipe, 12 foot vertical ramp and obstacles.
The park is for skaters of all levels.
Officials from the Greenspoint redevelopment authority said there are plans in the works to create a separate park for BMX riders.
