The driver eventually got through the door, but the pickup got stuck.

A passing Houston police officer noticed the scene while on patrol in the area, according to Lt. Larry Crowson with the Houston Police Department.

Unfortunately, the burglars were long gone by the time he arrived, he said.

Surveillance video shows them running from the scene.

"We put a perimeter around the building, used K-9s to search the building, there was nobody inside," Crowson said.

The owner of the business said he is waiting for his insurance company to help him figure out what to do next and how to clean up the more than $50,000 in damage to his store.

No one was hurt.
