HOUSTON – A woman's body was found in southeast Houston on Monday, police say.

Investigators said the victim was naked.

Authorities said they believed she was around 30-years-old.

Police said they don't have many clues in the case.

"We don't have any witnesses that have claimed to have seen anything here. If we did, it would have happened probably a day or two ago. It's possible that it maybe happened somewhere else and maybe she was just dropped here," said homicide detective Robert Torrest.

The cause of death is not yet known.

Police have not said how the body ended up where it was found.
