HOUSTON - Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia officially began his second four-year term after taking the oath of office Sunday afternoon.

Garcia's inauguration took place at the Grand Lobby of the Hobby Center in downtown Houston.

Those who spoke at the inauguration included County Judge Ed Emmett and U.S. District Judge Keith Ellison.

On his Facebook page, Garcia said he "couldn't be more honored to take the oath of office."

Garcia was first elected into office in Nov. 2008 and was re-elected Nov. 6, 2012.
