Neighbors: Area not safe for kids

Tina Jackson lives nearby and said the area where the little girl was killed is dangerous.

"These cars, they come in here too fast for one thing. They should have speed bumps. These people come in here like it's I-10, and that's wrong," said Jackson.

Investigators said they're treating the incident as an accident and no charges have been filed.

There's no word yet on whether Slack was walking alone or if her parents were nearby.
