HOUSTON – The Houston Professional Firefighters Association is backing a former city attorney for mayor.
The union says they believe Ben Hall has a vision to lead Houston into the future and that he will support the Houston Fire Department.

Hall is a trial attorney, and has served under Mayor Bob Lanier.
Hall and Green Party candidate Don Cook are currently Mayor Annise Parker's only competition in the November election.
Earlier this year, Parker received the support of the Houston Police Officers Union.
