Federal agents raid SW Houston home

HOUSTON – Residents were caught off guard as they watched federal agents raid a home in their southwest Houston neighborhood.

Three people were arrested and the investigation is far from finished.

Local 2 saw two men and one woman being taken out of the home on Sharpcrest in handcuffs and they will be questioned about what's going on inside the home.

Local 2 spoke with the federal agents Tuesday morning and who have not said exactly why they raided the home. But they did say this part of a larger investigation that may be completed in two to four weeks from now. Authorities do not want to tip off anyone. That's why they are not saying exactly why they raided the home.

Officials did collect evidence from inside the residence, but agents are going to continue to process it for several more hours.

The names of those involved have not been released.

Most neighbors say they never suspected something illegal was going on inside the home and say the family just moved in about six months ago.
