According to investigators, the wife of ex-HPD Officer Jason Sealy said he physically assaulted her after they returned home from a night out with friends where they drank alcohol at a bar.

During a "fit of jealousy," authorities said Sealy allegedly strangled his wife of 1 ½ years to the point where she could not breathe.

Witnesses at the scene were able to stop the assault and called 911.

Sealy was arrested and taken into custody. He's charged with assaulting a family member by strangulation which is a third degree felony.
