Around 2 p.m. Saturday, investigators said a Precinct 4 Deputy Constable responded to a disturbance call at a residence on Fostoria Road. When the deputy arrived, Kellie Allen, 32, said no one was on her property, investigators said.

After some back and forth, the deputy said he found Brian Manning, 28, in a travel trailer with a child. Deputies said Manning lied to the officer and said his name was "Sean."

Allen admitted she knew Manning was a convicted felon, investigators said.

The responding officer found a rifle near the door of the trailer, authorities said. According to the deputy, Manning later said he had multiple felony convictions, which made it illegal for him to possess the firearm.

Manning is charged with second-degree felony sexual assault of a child (warrant); third-degree felony unlawful possession of a firearm by felon; and three misdemeanor warrants for failure to appear.

Manning remains jailed on $400,750 bond, authorities said.

Allen is charged with third-degree felony hinder apprehension or prosecution of known felon.

Allen was released on $3,000 bond, deputies said.
