DAYTON, Texas - The Dayton Independent School District says students can expect an increased security presence on campus for Friday after threatening messages were found on bathroom walls at two schools.

Investigators say they have identified the student accused of leaving the messages, and that student admitted they were a prank.

Dayton ISD says they take all threats seriously, so as a precaution, they are stepping up security at Dayton Junior High and Dayton High on Friday.

Authorities have not yet released the student's name or the contents of the messages that were left on the walls.
