Danielle Bradbery visits Texas Children's Hospital

"The Voice" winner spent time taking questions on the hospital's in-house radio station

HOUSTON – It was a meet-and-greet day for Houston's newest music star.

Danielle Bradbery spent time Monday with some of her biggest little fans at Texas Children's Hospital.

It was a few hours of autographs, photos, and handshakes with ailing children who watched her through much of her Season 4 win on "The Voice."

She even spent time taking questions on the hospital's in-house radio station.Throughout the season, nurses would wheel televisions into many of the rooms so they could watch Bradbery perform each week.

"That just warms my heart," said Bradbery. "It makes me feel good knowing that I can put a smile on their face with all that they've been through."

Danielle's special visit came just one day before the release of her very first single.

Exactly four weeks from her win on "The Voice," her single, "The Heart of Dixie," gets released Tuesday.

It's a mid-tempo song about a young woman who makes some serious life choices.

The release also comes about one year after Danielle's mother signed her up for her first "Voice" audition.

"It's going to be on iTunes and I cannot wait to see how it goes and how fast it goes up on iTunes," said Bradbery, "I'm just so excited. It's unbelievable. It's crazy."

Bradbery's single, "Heart of Dixie," went on sale on Tuesday. Click here to download it.
