Danielle Bradberry survives elimination round

HOUSTON – Seven weeks in and support for Danielle Bradberry has not waned.

Family and friends gathered at a restaurant in Clear Lake Tuesday night to see if the 16-year-old Cypress native would survive this elimination night on NBC's hit show "The Voice" to advance to the round of 10.

As Danielle was preparing to perform in Los Angeles with the other members of singer Blake Shelton's team, she was also communicating with some of the crowd back here in Texas.

She's thriving on the support she's getting from her loved ones and as much as possible wants them to be a part of the experience.

"She's had a long day," says cousin Sonja Fuqua. "We talked to her this morning, texted her this morning and they've just been pulled here and there."

Danielle and the other remaining contestants have a day off and then have five days to prepare for their next live performance on Monday.

The next elimination round will be the following Tuesday when the pool of performers gets whittled down to 8.
