Burglars bust through NE Houston game room wall

Suspects knocked a hole in a brick wall to get inside.

HOUSTON – Houston police said surveillance video could be the key to finding a burglary suspect.

Police said the men used a sledgehammer and a crow bar to pry their way in through the brick wall of the Spin & Play Game Room on East Crosstimbers Road and Bauman Road early Monday morning.

Once inside, the men set off a silent alarm, which alerted police.

The officers found the men inside. They tried to shock one of the suspects with a Taser, but that didn't stop him. Both men ran out of the building, officials said.

Police said they found one man, Marnell White, hiding nearby.  The other got away.

It is not known if the men took anything.

"It has to take some crazy individuals to do something like this," said Kendrick Glaze, a friend of the game room owner.

The business was burglarized about three months ago. The owner said he is considering adding more security.
