HOUSTON – Houston police are working to determine whether the driver of a Chevrolet Camaro was drunk when she crashed into an SUV Monday morning.
According to police, the driver was speeding and slammed into the back of the SUV on the Northwest Freeway near 43rd Street. The crash sent the SUV rolling down the street.

Emergency responders took two passengers inside the SUV to the hospital in stable condition.
Police said a passenger in the Camaro was transported to an area hospital in very critical condition. The driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
If the driver tests positive for alcohol, police said she could face charges for intoxication assault.
