HOUSTON – The 27th Annual Uptown Houston Holiday lighting is Thursday night in the Galleria area.
Two-hundred thousand spectators are expected at this year's event along Post Oak Boulevard.

Eighty trees will be lit up with half-a-million twinkling lights.
Festivities begin at 4:00 p.m. with holiday music and concessions.
After that, comes a stage show which will include acts like the Houston Concert Band, Houston Choral Showcase and Salvation Army Harbor Light Choir.
Santa takes the stage at 7:00 p.m. for the big countdown and lighting.
The crowd will then be treated to a fireworks show.
Public parking was free at Center at Post Oak, The Dillard's Garage, Four
Oaks Place, The Galleria Post Oak Central, Post Oak Plaza, and Williams Tower parking garages.
