2 men injured after knife fight in northeast Houston

1 victim rushed to hospital

HOUSTON – Two people were injured after a man pulled out a knife during a house party in northeast Houston.

The incident happened Saturday around 2 a.m. at a home on Joy Street near North Wayside Drive.

When police arrived they found one man cut around the ear with a knife and another stabbed in the abdomen.

The man suffering the stab wound was rushed to Ben Taub Hospital in serious condition.

Witnesses told police they were all inside the house playing cards with friends when the suspect couldn't find his car keys and became angry.

The man then allegedly pulled out a knife in the kitchen and threatened his friends.

The argument moved outside because two babies were sleeping inside the house.

That is when things took a violent turn and the man attacked the two others.

The suspect originally took off but was later found by police.
