2 injured after METRO bus slams into back of car in SE Houston

HOUSTON - Two people were injured after a wreck involving a METRO bus in southeast Houston.

It happened at around 1:30pm Tuesday on Almeda Genoa at the Gulf Freeway.

We're told a black sedan stopped suddenly, then the bus slammed into the back of the car, pushing it into two other vehicles.

METRO says four passengers from the bus were transported to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital, as was the car's driver and two passengers.

The agency says all of the injuries were minor.
