Surveillance video of home invasion suspects' vehicles released

Intruders tie up couple, shoot homeowner

SPRING, Texas – A reward is now being offered in a violent home invasion in Spring. The Harris County Sheriff's Office and Crime Stoppers need the public's help identifying the home invaders who tied up a couple and shot the homeowner.

The home invasion happened at a home in the Champions Forest area on Mickleham Drive on Dec. 1. The homeowner told deputies she was in the kitchen when she heard glass shatter. She said she ran to her downstairs bedroom, yelled for her husband, dialed 911, then hid.

That's when deputies said three men wearing hoodies and masks came into her bedroom, then they held her at gunpoint and demanded she unlock the safes in the bedroom.

After she did that, deputies said they tied her hands with zip ties. Then she heard a gunshot upstairs.

After the suspects took off, the woman went upstairs and found her husband with a gunshot wound to his head. Deputies said the gunshot grazed his head and he is expected to be OK.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects' vehicles outside of the residence.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
