MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – Texas EquuSearch called off its search for two adults and a 5-year-old girl who have not been seen since Christmas Day.

Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Office said they found financial transactions that took place in Louisiana. Officials said those transactions involved the missing persons, and they've developed strong evidence to suggest those reported missing haven't met with any foul play.

Investigators said they haven't closed the case and are continuing to follow up on any leads.

Montgomery County sheriff's deputies said Atorian Buckner-Brown, 20, Amanda Jindra, 35, and Haley Vilven, 5, were last seen in south Montgomery County about 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday.

Investigators said Buckner-Brown and Jindra are dating. Jindra has two children, 5-year-old Haley and a 9-year-old son.

Jindra, her children and Buckner-Brown had dinner with some of Jindra's family on Christmas Day. Afterward, the couple had plans to take the children to the park, possibly near Lake Conroe, but they dropped the 9-year-old off with a family friend.

The three were reported missing after Jindra and Buckner-Brown did not show up for work on Wednesday.

Jindra's parents said it's not like their daughter to take off without telling anyone, and she would never leave her son behind.

"Right now we're hoping for the best," said Steven Jindra. "We're doing everything we can to try and locate her in case it's the worst."

Steven Jindra said he talked to Texas EquuSearch volunteers on Friday and suggested some areas to search.

The three were last seen in a gray 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander with Texas license plate No. DM2 B066.

"We're getting area mapped out, getting people actually driving," Texas EquuSearch founder Tim Miller said. "The most important thing is to see if we can get this vehicle located."

Amanda Jindra's family said there has been no activity to her bank account since Christmas Day and she hasn't responded to text messages or answered any phone calls.

"Right now we're still looking for some kind of hit on where they are," Steven Jindra said.

Buckner-Brown's brother said he is terrified about what may have happened.

"Wherever he's at, I know he's lifted up in prayer," Isaac Buckner said.

Buckner said his brother's car and wallet were found at Jindra's home.

"It's just strange that he would leave without his wallet," Buckner said. "Something had to happen beyond his will because he would leave his wallet -- no ID, no money."

Buckner said he was shocked about the age difference between his brother and Jindra.

"It was alarming," he said.

Buckner-Brown was last seen wearing a blue checkered sweater, gray jeans, gray tennis shoes and a baseball cap. Officials have not said what Amanda Jindra and Haley were last seen wearing.

Deputies said they don't have specific indications of foul play.
