HOUSTON – The Texas Department of State Health Services is holding an Ebola and Other Pathogens workshop Tuesday. Zika virus is among the topics to be discussed.
The workshop will be held Tuesday through Thursday at the Crowne Plaza Houston near Reliant-Medical Center located at 8686 Kirby Drive. Registration is free. Day one of the workshop is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
During the workshop some of the topics of discussion will be an overview of high consequence infectious diseases, hospital readiness, as well as a demonstration.
