HOUSTON - Unseasonably warm conditions kick off the month of December. On Saturday, we saw record breaking heat. Houston's Bush Airport hit 83 degrees.
Sunday morning, many locations saw very thick, dense fog. Visibilities in many spots dropped down to a quarter mile and even down to zero. By 8:30 a.m., visibility conditions were improving.
Sunday's daytime highs will soar to the low 80s. We could see near record high temperatures or even possibly tie a record. The record high on this day is 83, set back in 1978.
Expect unseasonably warm conditions with mostly cloudy skies and an isolated shower chance in the afternoon.
Monday looks like a repeat of today with daytime highs in the low 80s under mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of a shower.
Our next cold front arrives Tuesday night, giving us a chance of showers and storms. Unfortunately, Gulf moisture returns quickly, warming us up by the end of the week.
