HOUSTON -

Several teens went on a carjacking crime spree Wednesday night, robbing three women in their driveways.

All of the crimes happened within one hour: the first happened at 11:05 p.m. in the 1000 block of Evelyn; 25 minutes later another one happened at 300 Victoria and then just before midnight a woman was carjacked in the 300 block of Red Ripple.

"He opened my car door and said, 'Get out the car, I want everything. Give me your keys, give me your cash,'" said Crystal Wicks, one of the victims.

Wicks had just pulled into her driveway after working all evening. She told Local 2 she knew something bad was about to happen because she saw some men with masks on hop out of a truck.

"All you could see was his eyes and his mouth," Wicks said.

Wicks had her gun with her and fired a few shots toward the robbers. Three bullets hit her vehicle as they pulled away, but none of the suspects were hit.

While police were at that scene gathering information from Wicks, the suspects were spotted a few miles away. Officers attempted to pull them over but they fled, eventually crashed and ran away.

HPD said one of the robbers was caught -- a juvenile who is now charged with evading arrest and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

Wicks said a second suspect was also caught and both of them are just 16 years old.

Police are still looking for at least one more suspect.

Wicks said, "Sixteen years old? They should be at home getting ready for school the next day. That's where they should have been."

Police recovered Wicks' vehicle and everything inside. The only item still missing is her laptop.

A 57-year-old woman was also robbed in her driveway; she had just gotten home from her job cleaning schools at night. Her son-in-law told Local 2 she works hard for what she has.

"People are lazy, they don't want to work. They just want to steal stuff and it's not right," he said. "We want these people behind bars, people like that don't belong out here in the free world."
