The search is on for several teens who broke into a tractor rental business and went for a joyride.
Houston police are looking for several teens who they say broke into Champion Rentals, jumped on several of their machines and took them for a ride.
The manager said this is the fifth time the construction rental business has been broken into this year. But this time, the suspects did not steal anything.
"They just think it was kids, joy riding, having fun, school is fixing to start and they are just making one last round," said Mike Sharpton, Champion Rentals manager.
Around 5 a.m. Wednesday, Shaprton got a call that the alarm had been tripped at the office.
Sharpton said the teens found their way onto the property and were playing with some of their equipment, driving the mule and golf cart all over the grounds.
The teens did not steal anything and managed to get away from the cops.
Workers will be cleaning up the mess, but the manager said they have been broken into so many times that he has almost gotten used to it.
