The victim was involved in a fight earlier in the day with another male, known only as "Lil Tony," police said.

After the fight, the victim and suspect shook hands and left the scene separately.

When the victim got home, he received a phone call from one of the suspect's relatives asking if he wanted to fight again, according to police.

The victim said he didn't.

The victim then ran an errand with his brother.

When they returned home, the victim saw the suspect riding a horse on the side of the roadway on Dolly Wright, police said.

At that time, the suspect turned around and fired several shots at the victim before leaving the scene.

Paramedics were called and took the victim to the hospital.
