A teenager found shot to death outside Greenspoint Mall last week has been identified.

Houston police say Khalil Brown was found lying in the parking lot on the east side of the mall at around 12:20 a.m. on July 18. Police say witnesses heard several gunshots outside the mall and saw a man running from the direction of the shooting.

He is described only as a black male wearing dark clothing, last seen going toward the Premier Theater. Investigators also learned individuals were in the parking lot, near the theater, when the shooting occurred.
