HOUSTON - A teenager found dead on a sidewalk in southwest Houston Monday morning has been identified.
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Science says the body found is that of 16-year-old H'Racio Allen.
He was found dead on a sidewalk on Buffalo Speedway about 5:30 a.m. behind Brentwood Baptist Church.
"I don't understand why someone would do this to him. He had a very good. H'Racio was a good person. Everyone has their troubles. But he was a good kid. He was kind, kind-hearted," said his mother Shyvonne Turner.
She said something happened between Sunday and Monday morning.
"I'm just hoping that they would come forward and just let us know what happened. Just anything. Any information will be some good information," Turner said.
The medical examiner found he had been shot twice in the head and once in the neck.
Houston police said there were no motives or suspects in the case.
