HOUSTON – A teenager in southwest Houston was arrested Saturday after fatally stabbing his father in the neck, police said.
The incident was reported at 2:50 p.m. in the 10400 block of South Drive.
Police said Charles Taylor left the apartment to get help after he was stabbed, then collapsed at a neighbor's door.
Taylor, 34, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The juvenile was arrested at the scene. He will be referred to the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department on a murder charge for his alleged role, police said.
Investigators said the knife has been recovered.
It is unknown what led to the stabbing.
