HOUSTON - A teenager has been accused of stealing gifts from a northwest Harris County car.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office said several suspects stole Christmas gifts from an unlocked vehicle in the 10300 block of Crimson Canyon on Tuesday.
A woman said her husband spotted someone getting out of her car and jump into a waiting Chevy Tahoe nearby. Her husband followed the vehicle and got a partial license plate number.
A deputy pulled over the Tahoe at Battlecreek and Millbrook and took the three suspects back to the scene. The victim made a positive identification, officials said, and several of the stolen presents were found inside the Tahoe.
Guillermo Lozada, 17, was charged with burglary of a motor vehicle. A second suspect, a juvenile, was also charged with burglary of a motor vehicle. The third person was not charged and released.
