Two teenage suspects are accused of robbing two teens from their neighborhood at knifepoint in two separate incidents before school.
Cesar Manuel Gomez is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Court documents state on Sept. 11, a 15-year-old victim was walking toward his bus stop in north Harris County when Gomez and another suspect approached him, pointed a knife at him and demanded his cell phone. Investigators say the second suspect then punched the victim in the back of the head, took his cell phone and fled.
The victim told police he knew Gomez and the other suspect because they lived in his neighborhood.
The same morning, a 17-year-old victim told police he was waiting at his Aldine ISD bus stop when Gomez and the second suspect approached him and demanded his cell phone.
Investigators say the victim tried to run, but the second suspect punched him. The victim swung at Gomez, when the bus arrived and both Gomez and the second suspect ran off. They got away with the victim's gold chain.
Gomez, 17, was arrested Wednesday. The second suspect is a juvenile.
