HOUSTON – A high school teacher is under investigation after allegations that she had an inappropriate relationship with a female student are made.
The teacher works at the Alief Independent School District's Hastings High School. School district officials said the allegations indicated that the teacher's relationship with the student was sexual.

Once school district police wrap up their investigation, the case will be turned over to the Harris County District Attorney's Office.
Because charges have not been filed, the teacher's name had not been released. School district officials have not said if the teacher is working or on leave.
