Taylor Swift performs for 9,000 people at Club Nomadic Saturday night

HOUSTON – Music superstar Taylor Swift played to a sold-out crowd of nearly 9,000 people at the DirecTV Now Super Saturday Night at Club Nomadic, for the temporary venue's final performance before it will be disassembled.

Lines to get inside the club were the longest they had been in all three nights, with some fans arriving as early as 7 a.m. to make sure they were first inside and closest to the stage.

"We woke up at 7 a.m. or 7:30 and started getting ready. We took hours to get ready. We want to get here early because it's a big deal and we really love Taylor. We've been big fans since the beginning-we've been fans for probably like 10 years," said Lauren Walker, who flew to Houston from Kentucky to see Taylor Swift perform.

Celebrities in attendance included actors Vince Vaughn, Jeremy Renner and Chris Evans, as well as athletes like Tim Tebow, and gymnasts Simone Biles and Aly Raisman.

"Orange is the New Black" star Ruby Rose DJed before Swift took the stage shortly after 11 p.m..

The actress, who is from Australia, told KPRC she doesn't understand American football but still appreciates the sport.
