AUSTIN, Texas – Changes have been made to the date of this year's tax-free weekend.
It's the holiday that leaves your wallet a little bit heavier.

The tax-free weekend has been changed to August 9 through August 11. The holiday moved up one week before it was originally scheduled.
Eligible items include most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks.
To take advantage of the tax free weekend, items must be individually priced at $100 dollars or less.
