HOUSTON – Four people were arrested Monday after a southeast Houston lounge patron thought a long night of drinking had turned into a robbery.
Police said a man walked into the Davenport Lounge in the 1200 block of Clear Lake City Blvd. just before 3 a.m. and ordered everyone to leave.
One customer who thought a robbery was going to happen left and called 911.
Police said instead of a robbery, four employees and customers, a man and three women, were drinking after hours and refused to leave the lounge.
Police said the group stayed in the lounge because one of them had open warrants and one of the women said she thought the SWAT team was a hoax.
All four people were taken into custody.
