HOUSTON – A SUV ended up upside down in a bayou after trying to avoid a collision in southwest Houston on Tuesday.
The wreck happened on North Braeswood near Chimney Rock about 3:15 p.m.

Houston police said the driver of a car did not yield the right of way to the driver of the SUV when making a left turn.
The driver of the SUV swerved to avoid hitting the car and had no where to go but into the bayou.
Investigators said the driver of the SUV had gotten out of the vehicle by the time they got to the scene. He suffered a head injury and was taken to a hospital.
