Suspects wanted for forging payroll checks

HOUSTON – The Mont Belvieu Police Department is asking for the public's help in connection to a large number of forgeries of payroll checks.

According to police, the payroll checks total more than $12,000.

Police say not only are the checks forged on legitimate business accounts, the identities of the persons passing the checks are also false.

Police have released photos of five suspects cashing the checks at a convenience store.

Investigators are requesting that if anyone has any information or knows the identity of any of the suspects in the photos to contact police.
