HOUSTON - Police said thieves smashed their way into a Dollar General Store in northeast Houston early Thursday morning.
Houston police said around 3 a.m. Thursday, they received an alarm call for a break-in at the store located in the 10,000 block of Homestead at Tautenhahn.
When officers arrived, they arrested two men. Police said several other suspects ran away.
The store's manager told police the thieves stole clothes, DVDs and other items.
The manager said this was the fifth time her store had been broken into in a month.
