ANGLETON -

Authorities are asking for help tracking down a group of burglars who stole thousands of dollars worth of lawn equipment from a business in Angleton.

It happened around 4:40 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. at Rick’s Outdoors & Power Equipment located at 609 West Mulberry Street.

Angleton police said the three suspects used a stolen Dodge pickup, stolen out of Houston on October 22, to force open the front door using a chain. The truck’s bumper and license plate AE5-5227 was left at the scene.

Officials said the suspects, described as young black men, were in the store for about four minutes and stole weed eaters, blowers, lawn mowers, chain saws and a generator.
